Sarasota School of Arts and Sciences is a high performing public charter middle school located in downtown Sarasota since 1997. We provide a small, intimate environment of academic excellence and enrichment, utilizing community partnerships and traditional and innovative teaching methods.

    • Bachelors, Masters + preferred
    • Florida Certification or Statement of Eligibility

We provide an intimate environment of academic excellence and enrichment, utilizing community partnerships and traditional & innovative teaching methods. All teachers, administration, and staff work closely together to create an extremely supportive, positive and highly successful work environment. 

About the Position:

Implement the plans and follow schedule prepared by absent teacher. Follow all school/district policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates. Consults, as appropriate, with the Principal before initializing any lesson or other procedure not specified in the in the teachers plans. Reports in writing the day’s activities at conclusion of each day and/or provides feedback as requested by the principal.

Salary:

$130.00 per day
